Luke Stewart, DVM

Having grown up in Toronto, I’m thrilled to be returning to my home town to start practicing veterinary medicine. Never far from Toronto, I completed my undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science at the University of Guelph, and remained there for veterinary school at the Ontario Veterinary College. At this point, I’ve been back in the city and practicing medicine at the Spadina Animal Hospital since 2022.

I enjoy lots of the work I do as a vet, but I particularly enjoy discussing dermatology and ophthalmology (eyes) with pet parents. (I also really find parasites interesting, but I understand that it’s not a topic that everyone wants to talk about)

When I’m not at work, I enjoy catching a play or musical; and even occasionally get on stage myself to do a bit of improv comedy.
